So it might be a volley of arrows that comes towards you, a foe that comes to join the fight, or an ally that needs help, maybe, right?

It can be all kinds of things like that.

I really like this design.

And there are often phases, like in this one, you once you defeat all the guards, Gregonus, the half ogre who leads the force, shows up seeing that you are formidable and have weapons.

And so when you defeat him, now the fray ends, the battle ends, the other enemies flee.

They've been sent by the larger dragon army and paid off in secret without some of the mercenaries knowing.

So the leader of the group, Cudgel Iron Smile, she blames herself.

For falling for their deception.

She heads back to check on whether she has any people who remain that are loyal in the mercenary camp because not everybody came here.

You go to Vogler, you talk to the mayor and everybody else, you interrogate a captured guard.

And I like there are a lot of interrogation scenes suggested, but they all come with no violence, or at least the first one's really stated clearly to kind of set up that expectation that, you know, none of the NPC.

Will tolerate that, but that you can question them and learn from them.

And so that encourages the characters, I think, to in later scenes get a lot of information by grabbing someone who would know, right?

Sparing someone's life, perhaps.

Um, and so they can learn the mercenaries' plan that they were paid off by enigmatic hooded humanoids.

And Sean, they probably scout out the area that the mercenaries talk about, and they find a large army as camp nearby.
