And the knight like it'll say something like, you know, the the knight of of salomnia, she um, you know, will listen to what the players say and then if they didn't bring this up, th she'll recommend this.
And if they need help, she'll come up with this, and and that's kind of a nice way to do it.
Yeah, it's it's it's a fun way to set it up.
I think that uh this all works for me.
And uh then what ends up happening is now the invasion's gonna happen.
So Becklin, the knight of Salamnia, who's there, uh she heads off with Cudgel, the mercenary leader, and they join the mercenaries.
Now that you've, you know, prevented the the spotters that you just took out from seeing them do that.
They can go out there, grab the mercenary group that remains and come back to town.
Ready to intercept the dragon army.
And that works.
When the dragon army comes, it splits into two, half fighting the mercenaries, half coming to town.
And you, meanwhile, are helping everybody evacuate.
And so we get a number of invasion encounters.
And this is a technique used throughout the adventure where we get a number of suggested encounters and sort of recommendation of, you know, like, hey, run a couple, run more if you want.
Whenever you're ready, you know, go to the next phase.
And so it can be everything from a gliding draconian assassin to a cat that clings to a PC for the entire battle, which I thought was very hilarious.
Yeah.
It's a pretty epic scene.
