Who we have been affects who we are today, and we are strong enough to fix that in the future.
I truly do believe that.
And that is that is one of the biggest differences in these two parties.
I think we're going to see those differences laid bare tomorrow.
You have two men that I think represent those stark differences as as vividly as possible.
One who believes that in order to get ahead, either as a candidate or as a party, he has to find someone to tear down.
And he does every time he's on TV.

Vance finds a cat lady, a Taylor Swift, a someone that he can attack and tear down.
And we have seen Tim Wallace do the exact opposite.
His entire career is find the most vulnerable, find the least amongst us, find the hungry child, find the LGBTQ students that don't have representation, find those vulnerable and don't point at them and don't pick on them.
but lift them up and invite them to the table.
If we see that stark difference tomorrow, look, I don't believe that vice presidential debates move the needle very much on who people want to vote for.
But if we see that stark difference tomorrow, I think it starts to demonstrate not just the candidates that we're choosing between, but the future that we're choosing between.
So I know when I hear this one,
We are strong enough as Americans to right our wrongs in the future instead of erasing them from our past.
