What is the right way to deal with an emergency situation?
They're handling it wrong.
This is how I would handle it.
I think that is fair game.
That is not what we're talking about here.
We are talking about rhetoric that is questioning people's citizenship, questioning their, is she mentally impaired?
these are threats that have not just lent, that are not just evoking violence.
These are threats that have already resulted in violence.
And that what we saw him doing to Nancy Pelosi, right?
What we saw him saying about her on those stages, when he brings these Proud Boys up, when he brings up Oath Keepers, when he brings up J Sixers and makes them heroes and salutes them on stage and promises blanket immunity.
He's not just reminding them of what he's capable of.
He's promising to do it again.
And he's promising them immunity to do it again.
And I hear too often, Don, in focus groups, I hear too often folks say, if he loses, then there's going to be violence.
Newsflash, folks, if he wins, there is going to be violence.
He is promising it.
This is why we have to stamp this out once and for all.
And a part of how he does it, right, because, look, that's so good I had to write it down.
Don't be surprised if you hear it in a political speech, that we are strong enough to right America's wrongs in the future instead of just erasing them from our past.
They are there, and they affect people today.
