But I think that this marriage and this relationship is in many ways such an example of two really independent people coming together to appreciate each other's autonomy and appreciate what's great about each other.

I mean, first of all, one thing that always strikes me is sort of, like, almost uncanny about the Julia Child and Paul story is, to me, how much it parallels Ina Garten and Jeffrey.

Because they both met in government.

That is exactly what I was thinking.

It almost—I know that there was, like, overlap in their lifetimes, but I'm like, is Ina the reincarnation of Julia?

I mean, there's just so many parallels between their lives.

And then it gets me thinking, did these women turn toward their passion for cooking and for entertaining because they worked in such a dry industry?

And such a kind of heartless industry.

Is that why their life's passion was warmth and creating like lovely spaces?

Also the way that I feel that Ina and Jeffrey are still so crazy in love with each other.

I mean, I really buy into that.
