people were freaked out about it it was on the news all the time unemployment you know unemployment figures are out in three weeks gee we hope they're not going to go up anymore and and because people were because the government was being honest with us and they were being truthful with us about so the country had to think okay well we need to do something to fix up the economy the people were all sort of united about it but now people are just drifting along and don't realize that we've actually got a bad situation so i want to

Mate, look, you know, things just keep going up.

Yeah, look, now that we know conclusively that they're lying to us about unemployment, yeah, I'd like to do a little deep dive into how they're calculating the inflation.

Because when they say it's going up by 5%, I don't think so.

A hell of a lot of things feel like they've doubled since COVID.

I would love to see the immigration numbers.

I reckon they're lying about that.

Yeah.

Well, they said this week that the government...

So that there's about 100,000 people in Australia who are here and who don't have a visa, who are just staying illegally.

Now, they might be lying about that.

If that's what the government says it's 100,000, good chance it's more than that.

Well, look, yeah, let's put aside the obvious political motive.

We should celebrate the fact that one of the historic major parties of this country is coming out and taking a hard line on immigration.

That's called a win.

That's great news.

Now, it might be too late for them.

I mean, it was John Howard who really, really let the floodgates go on immigration.

The Liberals don't really have that much credibility on this.
