But just by inventing money out of thin air, what it does is it dilutes all the existing money that's in existence.

Now, I'm a critic of John Howard with all the regime change wars, okay?
But I will give Howard big credit on one thing, a really important thing, the economy.
When John Howard left, he was there for 12 years.
He handed over to Kevin Rudd a national debt, federal debt, of about $20 billion.
Now that is basically nothing.
It's the equivalent of owning a $10 million house in the best suburb in the Adelaide Hills, and you owe about 100 grand on it.
You're in a good position, okay?
Be better not to have the debt, but who cares?
Now then, and then Kevin Rudd comes in and he says, vote for me, I'm just like John Howard, I'm a conservative on economics.
Okay, okay, so Rudd gets in there and of course he's just licking his lips, okay?
Oh, the GFC comes along, oh God, I know I was gonna be a fiscal conservative, but we're just gonna throw all this money in there and we're gonna invent, gonna blow 60 billion on the NBN.
Well, now good old Elon Musk has told it, oh, we just need Starlink.
We could have saved the $60 billion.
Anyway, so Rudd comes in.
Now, by the time the Rudd and Gillard government, they were there for two terms.
