And I think by doing that, they trust their early childhood centre.

They trust those teachers, obviously, because their child is there.

So when they see...

us working well with them that says to them this must be a good primary school because this teacher trusts this place.

And I think we've got to...

We investing that time before the child goes to school as a primary school totally pays off because then, you know, the parents will have been to an evening at our school.

They will have heard about Willow Park.

They will have done some visits.

But then also, again, I come back to they trust those teachers.

So what I think is a lot of the teachers in my team are early childhood and primary trained so they come to school with respect for early childhood teachers understanding the knowledge that they have and everything that's happened for that child so

We do prioritise it and I prioritise it.

The school is really supportive because we know if we can make that transition positive, the children settle into school.

We don't have lots of children who struggle to settle.

The portfolios, I had a little person bring his portfolio in yesterday and he was very quiet, but actually he showed the class, my class of six, it's not that busy.

Yeah.

But he showed the class of six at the moment all his work, and you actually saw him opening up and showing what he loved and the things he was proud of and talking about his teachers.

And you can't do that all the time because not everyone has a paper portfolio.

A lot of them are digital now.

But I saw the value of it yesterday because I just thought he was so proud.

He loves that place that he was at, and he loves those teachers.
