And by the time you get up on top of mesa with a foot, they're gone.

And we've dealt with vandalism, all kinds of stuff.

So my fix for that was, hey, I'll carve a road up on top so we can get up on there with the UTVs.

And then they can't outrun us.

We can better patrol the perimeter of the ranch.

I started to do this excavation and, uh, it was during the course of doing a matter of fact.

So that particular, that particular road that I was working on lies unfinished today.

It's about three quarters of the way finished, uh, still doesn't get up on top.

Um, but, uh, uh,

The one thing that I fought with the network on a little bit was they kept saying... Matter of fact, I saw a rough cut of the first episode and they had me saying I was digging and then my head started to swell up.

And I told them, if you put that in there, I will sing like a canary because that's not what happened.

I was not digging and it started to swell up.

See, the fact of the matter is while there have been...

literally dozens and dozens of incidents where I have been digging and then something bad happens.

Correlation does not mean that that you can't point for sure and say, oh, that happened because you dug.

It could have seriously been a series of coincidences that have nothing to do with each other.

But it happens enough that it does give us pause.

And it's like, OK, it's something we need to keep in the back of mind.

We need to be careful of.

In this particular case, here I am defacing the mesa to put this road in, just this little UTV trail up the side.
