You know, man, at the All-Star break, we were doing our predictions, and I still predicted Toronto to make the playoffs.

And then they've gotten off to this terrible start in the second half, what, 3-7, I think, since the break, to push them 10-under and kind of suppress their playoff odds under 10% now.

So I do think they pivot to selling at this point because there are some quality options there.

I think Gosman is one of the more reliable guys, more reliable –

rental starters on the market, and the guys we have ranked ahead of them on our big board are guys who might not move in Scooble and Joe Ryan and Detmers.

So I think if you're a team who needs a guy you want to hand the ball to in a postseason game, Gosman's really appealing to you.

He pitched really well for the Jays in the postseason last year.

You know he's been there before.

He's had a bit of a rough patch the last six weeks or so, but you trust the track record there.

I compared him a bit to

the deal the Rangers got for Jordan Montgomery in 2023 as a guy who can come in and be a starter for you in the postseason.

And you give up, you know, kind of maybe two to three prospects, none of them an individual top 100 guy, but guys who might have the potential to grow into that, like we saw in that deal between the Cardinals and Rangers.

And then, you know, Dalton Varshow, I think, could fit a lot of teams.

There's a lot of teams that could use a center fielder, including his old team in Arizona.

Even Philadelphia could maybe decide to go there, though they could use a right-handed bat more.

And we talked about kind of the paucity of right-handed bats available.

One of the reasons I think

Curtis Meade got so much from the Red Sox is because there's not a lot of good right-handed hitters available.

And Springer, you know, he's limited defensively.

He's probably going to be more of a DH for any acquiring team, but has so much postseason success in his career, is a guy that you can imagine going to a team and, you know, kind of playing out the regular season and then being a really important piece come October, like we've seen from him in the past.
