Now, guys, teams have a bench of three guys.
It's ridiculous.
Managers are completely hamstrung when it comes to making moves because most of their roster is taken up by pitchers, so they have eight relievers ready to go tonight.
We need to change that, too, if we're going to move in the direction that Theo and others, I believe, including me, think we should be going.

Yeah, he did.
And he's one of the great postseason pitchers of all time because he didn't just do it in one World Series.
He did it in three World Series.
So you look at those career World Series postseason numbers, they're staggering.
But he has been really bad since he went to the Diamondbacks.
I think it's like 360 innings and an ERA well over five.
That's unacceptable.
And they designated him for assignment.
So now a team can come along and pick him up for the minimum salary.
Maybe the Rangers come along because they have Bruce Bochy, who was his manager all those years in San Francisco.
And they always can use another starting pitcher and maybe –
he can revive his career.
He also may decide he doesn't want to pitch anymore, and he's going to get paid for the $34 million no matter what because he loves to work on his ranch.
He's a cowboy in his own way.
