Yeah, I think, Shibley, the amount of carve-outs and the backpedaling we've seen since the budget was handed down highlights this wasn't thought out well enough.
The decision makers didn't go through all the scenarios to think, well, what are the unintended consequences here?
I think for a federal budget, we should have seen a lot more strategic forethought going into it.
And it's going to be a gradual phenomenon.
Yeah, well, I think they've gone through the wall.
And I think the broad theme here is one of weakening, even in the mid-sized capitals.
where the market's just been racing along and we're still seeing housing values rising quite swiftly.
But even there, the monthly growth rate's about half of what they used to be back at the end of 2025.
