This is something that I will continue to remember and embody throughout my service work.
I would also like to thank my parents here today who have helped make my work possible.
If it were not for driving me around to pick up and drop off donations at youth shelters and clinics for almost three years now, Mine for Youth would not be where it is today.
I started the organization Mind for Youth after having a family member struggle with depression for multiple
to help them.
When I entered high school, I soon found out that they weren't the only ones to experience this.
I saw more of my friends and those close to me experiencing mental health struggles, and that is what compelled me to start Mind for Youth.
Founding this organization was my way of showing young people that they weren't alone in their struggles and that seeking help wasn't a sign of weakness.
I'm so grateful to be in a city like Cupertino where I am surrounded by so many change makers and leaders who believe in improving our community for the better.
The city has done a fantastic job in providing opportunities for people to get involved in community service in its shows this evening by bringing together so many individuals who prove that community service isn't just an action.
It's a reminder of our shared

I'm so excited for what the future of Cupertino holds and I hope that together we can continue to ensure that every person feels supported and empowered to make a difference.
