Yeah, that's a great question.

I'd encourage the young farmers, the beginning farmers, to want to educate yourself on the programs available.

So FSA, USDA have outstanding beginning farmer loan programs that are very attractively priced and give you a chance to get your foot in the door without bringing a lot of equity in.

Because farming is equity, capital intensive, and to be able to buy a $10 million farm and bring $4 million, $3 million down is a huge challenge, right?

Your beginning farmer can't do that.

But to start with your 40, 80, 120, right, and get a 90%, 95, 100% finance loan, USDA and FSA are really the way to go.

And there's some great local banks and farm credits that are outstanding at that.
