I try to be right at the same level because, again, you're looking down on the couple.
And I just think that sends just a negative message in a way.
It implies it.
I appreciate that.
What do you do?
I don't stay in the middle for anything that doesn't involve me.
So that can be anything from stepping aside for the kiss, which is just an absolute must do.
you know to um if they're going to do a candle lighting ceremony and the table is behind me or i move or if they have a someone read a scripture or read a poem or sing a song i like to bring that person to my spot so that it's more personable to more personal to the couple that that reading or that poem is being spoken to the couple much like what i'm doing
So I personally always recommend don't have your, you know, your sister standing way off to the side with a microphone, you know, sharing something personal for you.
Have her come right up here, take my spot, I move to the side, and that person can stand there.
So, but in general, anything I'm not directly involved in, I will move aside so the photographer has that perfect picture.
And that includes...
If there's a mic stand that has to be there, I'll take that mic stand with me.
I just try to do it very carefully so you don't hear it.
But truthfully, I just realized the importance of getting out of the way.
