And I see this particularly with Catholic couples.
I do a lot of Catholic ceremonies.
The couple views it as Catholic.
I'm obviously not a priest, and I'm not providing them with a mass.
But nevertheless, it's a Catholic couple, so for them, it's a Catholic ceremony.
But they don't want that long, drawn-out ceremony, which is very beautiful.
I'm not denigrating it.
But they don't want to spend that much time in that ceremony with so many responsibilities of wanting to stand up, wanting to sit down, things like that.
But they also want to be honorable to their heritage.
in their Catholic roots and they want to be respectful to the members of their family who are probably practicing to a higher degree than them.
So consequently, there is a trend away from that overall.
So I don't expect to see it reversed to tell you the truth anytime soon.
Interesting.
I try to keep it at 20 minutes.
The couple will give me what they want for their ceremony, and they'll tell me the added things they want.
whether it could be a song or a poem or they want to have somebody read something or things like that.
But I still try to take all the information that is given to me and still keep it around 20 minutes.
So I will advise a couple if their ceremony is getting too far beyond that or less because we have both types of couples.
Some say, you know, they want to do this, they want to do this here, and they want to have this special thing here.
And what they fail to realize is that you're up around a half hour.
