And so we don't want that, that flavor.
I believe they don't want that flavor.
They may have to be convinced they don't want that flavor, but ultimately in the long run, they're going to be happy and their guests will be more satisfied if they have a little bit of bulk in their ceremony.
Although I've done it in the past, I no longer provide any sort of sound amplification.
Too many different settings, and I just don't.
So I'm familiar with it from my background.
but i don't i rely on the venue or the couple to arrange for amplification now having said that there's couples that sometimes don't think that far ahead or there might be budget constraints and i've arrived at a wedding where several where you have a hundred people and there's no sound amplification fortunately i've been in public speaking my entire adult life
And so I know how to project my voice.
And so I can oftentimes make sure that the people in the back hear what's being said.
And there's different things that I do to make sure that the couple are still comfortable too and that their hair isn't getting blown back.
But I truthfully don't run into many situations where it hasn't been already considered what needs to be done.
But I at the same time, I don't make demands.
Right.
So I want to try to be as easygoing for the couple as possible, not to make their life any more stressed out than it is.
So if I arrive at a ceremony and they say, well, we didn't get you a microphone.
No problem.
It'll be fine.
to have that pa system cutting in and out so yeah i've had that happen where you know a cousin has shown up with their bluetooth speaker and a you know and a cheap mic that came with it you know from amazon or something and uh it just doesn't work you know right and so at some point i i have to make the call guess what i can do this better without the mic then i can do it with it so i
But you know better than I do because of the nature of work that you've done, how important PA systems are and proper sound amplification and things like that.
And so, yeah, it's absolutely essential that couples consider that.
