to be you always want to be in a room where you're being challenged whether that's intellectually from a work ethic perspective and same thing happened with me when I got to Benzing I was like man I'm gonna outwork everyone and then we've got guys staying up till 2am finishing their day it's like

Holy smokes.

Like, so, so yeah, right room to be in and always feel grateful to be challenged.

Yeah, yeah.

I guess the one thing that I didn't appreciate was just being a brick in the wall, right?

I always want to feel like my work is going towards something meaningful and something where I can actually impact the outcome.

Because when you're just a brick in the wall, being impactful or seeming important doesn't always happen.

Yeah, I mean, especially when, like, just given the scale of a manufacturing plant, we could produce 800 trucks in one shift.

So we were pumping them out.

But it's not always like you're actually going to make those.

Like, those trucks might not come off the end of the line at General Assembly because maybe a different part of the plant has issues.

Right.

And so if you can't own or take ownership in the entire process from start to finish, it can be very frustrating because your work is kind of just going unseen, right?

It's just a pat on the job, you know, hey, good job.

That's what you're supposed to do anyways, you know?

And so that part can be frustrating, but the sense of fulfillment when we would solve problems, it was satisfying.

Yeah, and I've never gone through a digital transformation in the, I guess, credit union space.

But I imagine you've got a new shot at building a process, right?

So you've got almost a new lease on life where you can redesign things and optimize it.
