I mean, it's not like I come here and work, so...
I mean, I get to come hang out and watch football and talk football and be with good people and...
When the opportunity and the chance was asked to be on the competition committee, what an honor to be part of a group of individuals that get to help shape the future of the game and how the game's played and the integrity of the game.
And it's a huge honor for me.
So, yeah, it's a no-brainer.
Well, I mean, I think there's so many things that go into the game of football.
And I think, number one, the league has done a great job.
And the individuals who've been on the competition committee throughout the history of the league have done an outstanding job of protecting the game of football.
But it's an ever-changing landscape.
And I think for me, personally, and listen, right now, I'm gonna do a lot of listening, because there's guys who've been on that competition committee for a long time, and I think the best thing you can do is understand and dive in and learn before you start opening your mouth too much.
But at the same time, strong opinions that there's a foundation
to how the game of football has always been played and needs to be played.
Football is a physical, tough game.
We need to make the game as safe as possible for our players.
But at the same time, just the nature of the game itself is there's a danger to it.
And football is not for to play the game of football.
