Right.
So we could all be like, we want to be the most professional team.
And part of being professional means we're going to like make a phone call every 30 days.
If something goes over the 30 day mark for, you know, how long since we sent out that invoice to the client, right.
But if then we don't go on and say, okay, but George, Marjorie, is that your responsibility or yours?
We are not really clear about what should happen next.
Then it all kind of crashes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, do you know right now how much money you owe to subcontractors and suppliers?
And do you know what your plan is for when the, all of those bills will get paid?
Not very many that call us up.
I think, again, I'm not trying to sound like a broken record, but I really do think it's because we're not putting enough emphasis on these types of things being important to managing the business.
And we're putting a lot of emphasis on what's happening out in the field.
versus what's happening in the back office, right?
And so I think that it's unfortunate because I think at some point we start to see like when we don't know the answer to that question, we suddenly might wake up one morning and realize we also don't know if we can make payroll next week because we didn't plan ahead.
And so I think that's where, to your point that you said much earlier, Reese, there's this missing synergy because it's not recognizable right up front that
installing the electrical, installing the roof, putting up the timbers is just as important at where, you know, is equally as important as making sure that we're bringing the cash in and making sure that Marjorie knows it's her responsibility.
If that is where it lands to call and make sure that we're bringing those things in and let Marjorie knows it's her responsibility to know
how much of what's coming in needs to also be paid right back out to subcontractors and suppliers, right?
