Luka, how many contested stepbacks he was taking, stepback threes that were very well contested, we saw against the Phoenix Suns.
The need to get Luka better looks, and this is just a great example.
This is a terrible defense by the Jazz.
You should never leave Luka this wide open, but LeBron drawing the defense into the paint and then just getting the ball to Luka.
These kind of looks are the looks that Luka should be getting, and you can generate more of these when the ball's not...
always in luca's hands um here's a a great example of it though what we're talking about the off ball action here you see bando come and set the screen for luca and then lebron just hits him and look at the quality of the look that luca's gonna get her now filipowski comes in and makes a great play but that's a great look for luca and this is what this does actions like this are you gonna go to this all the time no of course not the ball is still going to be in luca's hands a ton
because he's phenomenal at it right i mean you're going to generate points at a very high rate with luca running your offense but the nice thing about stuff like this is luca doesn't have to create this all luca has to do is be in a play finisher role here so he's getting the screen turn in the corner now he's already got shoulders past his man and he's attacking
the basket now, catching the ball around the free throw line, and then he gets to be the decision maker, either be aggressive and score it himself, drop off the pass, whatever.
Here he goes for the shot.
Doesn't work out for him, but it's something that, when we look at Luka's energy level, could be
a positive as well because Luke is not having to fight against the defense in order to create that possession.
He's just moving off ball and creating it that way.
Now, here's another example.
Same play.
There's the screen from Vando.
Boom.
Luka rolling.
Look at Vando roll into the rim and Vando gets the easy dunk out of that.
So again, Luka catching the ball, being in that decision maker position 14 times, they did it.
Is that a ton?
