One of the saddest things that I see as a confidence coach is watching really, really incredible people walk around unaware of how incredible they actually are.
And instead of knowing how amazing they are, they notice every flaw.
They...
notice everything that they're doing wrong instead of what they're doing right, but everyone else notices their light.
And somewhere in between comparison and perfectionism and social media, they've stopped believing the good that others so easily see.
And I wish just for five minutes,
that you could hear conversations people have about you after you leave the room.
Not imaginary ones that your anxiety invents, not the negative ones, but the real ones.
The ones when you walk away and someone says, she's so encouraging, or I love being around him, or she has such a calming presence.
They have such a beautiful family.
They're so kind.
I wish I had his confidence.
I wish I had her style.
