Almost nothing.

I mean, the only thing that would really get people upset is if that parole is if they go back and fight against the United States government.

But what they do do is they take up arms against the black populace.

And that's what is allowed to happen, at least initially, until the congressional Republicans start doing something about it.

But that's what there is, is they're after that because they went to war to protect and expand the institution of slavery.

Now, imagine that they went to do that.

They sowed the wind with that.

And in biblical terms, they reaped the whirlwind.

which is four million free black men, women, and children.

And that is the thing that violence starts almost immediately.

Oh, yeah, absolutely.

I think I give two examples of generals that didn't submit.

And one of those is Jubal Early.

So he is responsible for the sack of Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania.

He thinks he's going to be tried as a war criminal.

He flees to Canada and eventually says, listen, I hate Yankees so much.

If I saw a woman, a Yankee woman, I would scalp her and her child.

Another one is George Pickett, famous from Pickett's Charge, who, because he summarily executed 22 U.S.

Army soldiers, he flees to Canada as well, thinking that he is going to be charged as a war criminal.

So many of them come back.
