It's a rice dish.

I'll just Google it because Google exists and we have the world's knowledge at our fingertips.

And so my books don't have a glossary.

But earlier drafts of Aisha at Last had a glossary.

So my thinking on this has really changed as well.

You know, as a as a South Asian Muslim, for instance, there are like words and like ideas and traditions and like, for instance, the Christian faith that I didn't grow up with.

So I don't know what certain things mean either.

And I always when I'm reading about these these things, I just figure it out from context clues.

I love audiobooks.

I think they're a fantastic resource for everyone.

I always have an audiobook on deck on my Libby app, which is the public library app.

And yeah, they're a fantastic way to experience books in different ways.

Sometimes I'll read a book and then I'll listen to the audiobook because I want to know what it's like.

And I find sometimes I will stop listening to an audiobook because I don't like the narrator.

And I'm sure your listeners have had the exact same experience.

And it's nothing, it's no knock on the voice actors.

It's just like personal preference.

And so when the time came to cast for Detective Auntie, as the writer of my books, how the process works is that the publisher basically sends, the publisher curates a short list of actors who are available and interested in the role.
