Well, hi everyone.
My name is Vanessa.
I am a bilingual speech language pathologist.
I have a private practice in Tampa, Florida called Theravolve Mullness Co.
I'm just a first generation college graduate up here doing the darn thing.
I love that so much.
I mean, I guess I was a very non-traditional student from the start and I wasn't your uh typical, I mean I loved school but more for the socializing piece of it and not so much for the straight A piece of it.
But
Yeah, I mean I pretty much have been working since I was 16 years old.
I'm sure many of you guys have.
And high school was just kind of something that I just I wanted to like graduate early or get out.
And honestly, at some point I've also contemplated dropping out of high school just because it just wasn't really the vibe for me.
Long story short, you can listen to the podcast as well.
I had a guidance concert and that was like, you don't have the grades of college, you're basically not good enough, you can't do it.
And that was probably
projecting on her part, but also like I was working full time every day after school, four to ten.
So I understand I just I didn't have your typical availability to like volunteer to talk with my high school teachers often to get those letters of recommendation, nonetheless have time to study and all of that.
So fast forward to I met one of my closest friends now.
She was actually an SLP.
