And lastly, we have already started working with CMS and other partners as it relates to teacher work days because we understand it's not just the weekends that the youth need something to do.

It's not just after school, it's any time that they are left alone.

So the great thing about the Office of Youth Opportunity since its inception is we have looked at the child as a whole.

So we're not just looking to give them somewhere to go and play.

We're looking to give them programming, we're looking to give them exposure, we make sure that our partners do provide wraparound services and provide mentorship.

So we will definitely keep you posted on our pilot.

And we will uh let everyone know when the grant opportunity becomes available.

And one final thing I would note is that um

With implementation of this youth ordinance if if you so desire.

We will make sure that we do a full-scale education campaign regarding this.

We would want to make sure that first and foremost all our officers will be informed that again, this is just a tool to help us to ensure that our young people are safe and they're in safe spaces.

Additionally, any interaction that our officers would have with any member of the youth as is our policy right now.

They have to wear their body worn cameras.

So we would be able to track information to ensure that this is appear applied fairly, um equitably across the city, and again that those exceptions that are in place would be considered and would be uh part of this ordinance.
