And so and if I could just break it down for you, so from nine PM to five fifty nine AM, we had four hundred and thirty-one victims.
These are actual victims of crimes during that time period.
From ten PM to six AM, the number shrinks a little bit, but we had three hundred.
And then from eleven PM to six AM, two hundred and sixty-six victims.
And so at nine PM, a hundred from nine PM to six AM, a hundred and twenty seven victims
Of these total victims are ages sixteen and seventeen.
Yes, ma'am.
And then at eleven PM
That number is seventy seven.
So basically the difference between one twenty two and seventy seven is what you're saying we will you're you're hoping to reduce yes, ma'am victimization.
And then that percentage as well, trying to get that number down as low as possible to protect our youth.
And can you just a quick follow up, can you then help me understand?
I the reason I'm asking this question 'cause I think about the alternatives to violence work that we're doing.
And so I'm my immediate question, especially as I see ADW and gun here, is how many of those are addressed through that retaliatory violence piece versus through the curpew?
I'm still not quite clear on the mechanism that's changing.
So our desire our goal is that we get that number down, the number of victims of crime as well as offenders of crime that are youth.
And so I think for us is just being able to, you know, knowing that when youth are out
Theory is when they are out, then they're being victimized, and some are also causing um victimization.
