Britain's top health officials warn that the painkillers ibuprofen and neproxin, as well as some arthritis drugs and certain antibiotics, contain chemicals that seep into the skin and absorb solar radiation, raising the risk of sunburn.
They say many blood pressure and hard drugs can affect the body's ability to stay hydrated, and some antidepressants, antipsychotics, and beta blockers can impair the body's ability to handle heat.
Their advice to all Brits, stay hydrated, stay out of the midday sun, and use protective clothing and sunscreens.
