you know, in Vancouver in 2011 between three guys, but mainly two guys who kind of took the torch.

You know, I joked around with Peter Montopoli, who's the guy that's kind of been, you know, driving this with me for the last 15 years.

And obviously a lot of other people have jumped on and started to push the train here.

But I said to him, you know, the concept, there's this concept of,

farm to table.

I said, we reversed it in a very Italian way.

We went from a dinner table and we brought it to the country.

So it's kind of the reverse theory.

It was a nice Brunello.

I remember that.

So it was three guys.

It was myself, Peter Montopoli, and a guy named Walter C. Barrett, a legend in Canadian sports, Canadian Olympic Committee.

He was at FIFA.

And we had just won the bid for the Women's World Cup.

And he said it because of his experience.

It's time now that we have the right real team with me and Peter to push the envelope to bid for the Men's World Cup.

And that's where it started.

And we went on a journey and after we started doing what we needed to do, there's always that soft approach before you get into an official bid.

It was really us as Canadians that brought together
