Um it was Japanese knotweed.

Um yeah, it was a strange, strange game from a Manchester United perspective.

But actually I think what Brighton did, which I suppose other teams are are used to do against Manchester United, but probably speaks more to their

character and aptitude is that they went two nil down after ten minutes and they actually didn't panic.

There was almost uh understanding among them that like

Yeah, to be fair, we haven't started very well and you know, Brighton in the way that they play when they zip the ball around in the middle, they weren't doing that as cleanly, in part because they'd made a few changes themselves.

Um and they just kept their calm and I thought it was you know, the way they got it back into the game with Costulas' goal in added time of the first half, the fact that Herzler didn't make any changes at half time.

Yeah.

And that also speaks to I suppose how poor Manchester United were at the back end of that first half, that Brighton clearly sensed going into the break that, you know what, yeah, we could probably actually get this done and in normal time and and they did.

Yeah, I mean it it it kind of

I I suppose, you know, a lot of Manchester United fans were talking about how ineffective I suppose they thought the summer transfer window was.

And that's not to speak ill of the individuals they got in, but more of the the whole package, I suppose.

And over the course of a season where unfortunately you know, in twenty six, twenty seven, we as Manchester United are being forced to play more than twenty games, which
