So what was going to be next?
I'm like, I still want a skill that will help me still become CFO.
but I don't want the same kind of pressure a controller has because I feel like the control is the hardest job in a finance organization.
Yes, and internal controls, audit and all that.
So how am I still going to be able to hit that goal?

Once the kids went kiddo, I was like, okay, now I'm ready for VP.

So I started being more strategic, the different moves.
So still reach where I was, but just not working like,
I think it's the, it exposed me to different business models, to different perspectives, to different macroeconomics, because being in finance, you have to understand how the business make money, right?
Well, how do business make money and how can you make it sustainably for the long term?
So when you're on pharmaceutical, it looks different than when you were in manufacturing.
It looks different than when you were not for profit.
It looks different in all those things.
And so having seen what the financials look like,
The different processes across these industries allow me to have a very unique ability to cease a business event and straight understand, okay, this is how it may affect us now and or in the future.
It's like trying to really see through the events, read through business events.
and understand, okay, this is what it will mean for us.
