They're very used to the NHS pension.

And being able to plug numbers into a tool that will help to project the pension to the point of retirement.

So that's the next step for GPs is, OK, you know what you want.

Go and look at what you've got and then go and get some help around.

OK, I've got this now.

What will that look like in five years time when I retire?

Do those numbers match?

What we tend to find, and this goes back to the strain put on GPs at the moment, is that GPs kind of want to go early and that's not changed.

And that just means that everybody tends to have a pension gap.

We call it a pension gap where you want to retire maybe at 58, 59, 60.

But increasingly, the bulk of your pension is going to come in at state pension age.

So it's not just 60 now, it could be 65, 66, 67, 68.

Who knows for people who are later on.

So those currently five years from retirement will have most of their pension benefits kicking in at 60.

But what if you want to retire at 58?

Because you can.

But what does that look like?

What impact does that have on your numbers?

Are your numbers going to be enough for you to be able to do that?

It's all about peace of mind, giving you peace of mind now, knowing, right, well, actually, I could maybe go at 59 or at 58 or I could do retire and return and drop some sessions or partial retirement and drop some sessions and step down gradually.
