I think Claudio did great there, you know, with kind of keeping that pressure off the boys.

Obviously, the season before, we just avoided relegation.

So even though he was, you know, flying in the Premier League that season, 15-16.

Everyone wanted, well, all the media, the news, wanted that kind of punchline headline, you know, what can you do this season?

Can you win the league?

The message was from Claudio, no, we're just going to try and get to 40 points, you know, that's the big target.

And obviously in-house, you know, we were working hard.

We were just trying to focus on maintaining what we were doing and keeping our heads straight, I'd say, and not getting carried away with kind of the outside noise a little bit.

So, yeah.

Yeah, it wasn't that message exactly inside the dressing room.

But at the same time, we knew the task.

We knew that, you know, obviously things can change very quickly in football.

But let's just keep doing what we're doing.

And I think Clyde did fantastic with kind of keeping that pressure off us.

Yeah, and I think that's credit to the recruitment and Walshie was on earlier.

They don't just look for obviously good talent or talent that got the potential to become even better.

I think the mentality of the players and the character of the players plays a big important part in their recruitment strategy.

And obviously...

bringing plays in, it takes a lot of time to kind of look into that, speak to people, get character references, and I think that was special.
