They will be bullied.
It will give you the flavor of what two things, what the visitors are likely to do and be, how it feels and how your own emotional trajectory, if it's like ours, will go.
You know, what do you say to a child who knows nothing about what you understand?
We were not talking about this in the family context at all.
We were not.
He was not being exposed to endless alien talk at all.
He wasn't even mentioned to him.
It wasn't part of his life.
They made it part of his life, not us.
So what do you do with that?
Do you tell your children?
Should we have told him?
Should we have sat him down and said, this is happening?
And this is all explored in the book, especially more in the new part than the old part, because of the old part, I was just narrating what was happening.
Now there's, you know, years and years of insight.
He's now nearly 50 years old and has had a whole life
And like he completely forgot everything that happened to him as a child.
And I was shocked when that developed, because we didn't talk about it.
Once he grew up into his teenage years, we didn't talk about it anymore.
