And it really did remind me of those games when I was younger, where even though Ireland were competitive in spots, and I agree, I thought the forwards carried really, really well.

It's not as if Ireland had no impetus in the game.

But on the scoreboard, they never really had any scoreboard pressure.

So it was kind of a throwback to me of one of those games where Ireland kind of, oh, you know, give a good account of themselves.

But ultimately, I just didn't think they were really... I thought New Zealand... I think the idea that this was a competitive game in parts is a bit of an illusion considering the scoreboard pressure New Zealand had built by halftime.

Yeah, I agree on the predictability point because as I said, like I thought some of the forward carriers, like Conan McCarthy in particular, were like really robust, punching holes.

But because Sam Prendergast isn't a running threat,

New Zealand, it seemed to have found it very easy just to kind of push off him and tackle our ball carriers kind of in the back line.

In particular, like McCluskey didn't get as much change as he ordinarily does.

They just seemed to know Pendergast was not going to be running that ball and they were able to kind of mark up the runners.

And it's a testament to the power and the kind of the doggedness of the forwards that even though that was the case, they were still able to get over the game line pretty regularly with the ball in hand.

But it was tough.

It was tough going for the Ireland forwards tonight because of that.

Yeah, no, I'd agree with that.

I do think it's been a positive window for him considering where he was coming from.

And yeah, I just think that because of the running threat thing, they don't have to like... It's not a live option the way, say, even Crowley is when Crowley has the ball who can maybe have a knife or a gap.

I just want to briefly talk about Nick Berry.

Like, I'm not sure if you would have had a sense of this in the stadium.

I'm not sure if you had a ref link or not.

But at home, like, it was crazy how the breakdown was being refereed.
