I just think they've now... And at club level, similarly for Leinster, I don't think they're as good as Bordeaux or as good as Toulouse.

And I think that's manifesting itself in how they're performing against these teams.

Because Ireland and then Leinster in the Champions Cup are able to beat...

the tier below them pretty comprehensively like England and Scotland were put to the sword in the Six Nations.

I just think this is where Ireland are at now.

The one silver lining or crumb of comfort is that the World Cup draw Ireland have been given doesn't pit them against any of the big three potentially if Ireland can take care of their own business against Scotland and maybe Argentina.

I'm coming out of saying that I think the error count is a product of them not being as good as they were.

But that doesn't mean that they can't.

If they had played the All Blacks today and James Ryan hadn't have dropped that ball, if McCluskey hadn't have thrown that bad pass, if Sam Prenagas hadn't have thrown that ball in the touch, Gibson Park in the touch, if their discipline had been better in their defensive line, what's the final score?

I still think they lose by double digits.

That's my overall opinion.

I think even if they'd made 90% less mistakes, I think from what I saw between the two teams today, I actually still don't think Ireland would have necessarily won the game or been super close to winning the game.

The Gibson Park one was very cheap.
