and this might sound a little strange to say but i actually think like those kind of errors are far more damaging to ireland than other teams because france new zealand and south africa to a degree as well have like an x factor where like ireland's game ireland at their best is like long passages of multi-phase play which obviously is more intricate and like you know so an error there i don't necessarily have the game breakers to like turn a game on a sixpence and score try it or nothing that ireland's tries do tend to come from these prolonged passages of play so
little errors can be even more ruinous where a French drop ball they kind of shrug their shoulders and know they'll get another chance a few minutes later and can go to length so that's why maybe these games feel so far out of reach because the error count is so high against the top three and like it really robs Ireland of the momentum they need to score I think I saw Farrell say that in the post-match actually about their continuity they could never get a continuity into the game because of those errors
All of a sudden, we only have, I think, nine games until the World Cup warm-ups, which would be in about a year's time or so.
You know, we have three games in the Aviva in November.
then wherever Ireland will be playing on the finals weekend in Twickenham, then the Six Nations, and then the World Cup will be upon us.
