And I'm sorry to be so detailed about this, but I want you to know what we're fighting for when we're talking about funding rural hospitals.

After a little while, it hit me the seriousness of what was happening.

And I won't lie to you.

I screamed out to heaven that day, God, please don't let me die.

And that's a lot for a 12 year old to have on his shoulders, but that's what happens on farms.

And that's what happens in rural America.

And that's why it's so critical that we have the funding that we need because there were no life flights when this happened to me.

I laid there for an hour and 50 minutes waiting for an ambulance to show up.

As the sun melted the fat on my arm from the injury that I had occurred, my grandmother came down.
