Little kids like me that have farm accidents.

accidents that occur on the highway because we have to travel further and we go faster in rural America to get where we need to be.

This is the truth about these cuts.

It's not political, it's personal.

And I just don't want to see any kid have to suffer through what I did because as you can tell today, nobody deserves that.

You're not wrong.

My county went 80% for Donald Trump.

Yeah, I don't want to excuse that mentality, and I'm not going to do that because there is an element of this out there where people voted a certain way because of the darkest instincts in mankind.

And I don't want to deny that.

But if I could put my political hat on for just a minute, when we look at rural polling, it's very similar to urban inner city polling.

The politics of resentment and the reasons that drive the vote in rural America are

are very similar to the same reasons that drive the vote in inner city urban America.

This politics of resentment that we've been left out, that we've been ignored, and what that tends to cause to happen.

And we saw this with our young people in the last election, regardless of race and educational background and socioeconomic background, they voted for the person that screamed the loudest that they were going to help them, whether they made the decision to help them or not.

But I do have some hope in this area, me personally.

The president's lost 9% of his support in rural America just since January.

And his independent rating- 9%, sorry.
