identity and transformation going on.
It just seems to be something that thematically comes through quite a bit.
And I think it's something I'm drawn to for some reason, just this idea of how our identities can shift throughout our lives, one thing.
And also just the idea of, because I've dealt with my own issues to do with
without getting too much into it but I've certainly dealt with my own sort of mental health issues to do with identity stuff things like that so I think for me it's just natural it would come through in the work and I just find it fertile ground to explore for some reason so
That's right.
games um well thanks to your good channel i've consumed a lot of uh you know new you know new to me anyway uh ghost stories things like that yours has been a when i discovered the channel actually it was kind of a revelation because i'd always been interested in ghost stories that type of thing so so you know um i just was listening to a lot of the things you were putting out for one thing and certainly some of the stories that you've narrated like um
Oh, yeah.
The Old Portrait I was quite taken with when I listened to that one because it's a very short one, but I really loved just how unusual it was because I'm still kind of developing my literary knowledge in general because I've always been more of a film person when it comes down to it.
But certainly The Old Portrait was a big one that I really loved because it's just how short and concise it is, but it also leaves an impact.
And I would also say the Phantom Coach I was quite taken with when I listened to it, because I love this idea of he's just stumbling around out there, but it comes across this house, which has this all kind of almost like a wizard who lives in it.
And I was just so like, I just love the idea that there's a story there that hasn't been fully extrapolated, but she kind of leaves it as this little
thing to be reflected and i thought well you know could there be uh i was almost tempted to like write a sequel to actually sort of exploring that guy's life because i thought well how interesting because she hints at things but she doesn't fully um explain them which i guess goes back to kind of what i guess i did in my own stories i kind of hint at things but then i think it's always the question mark at the end which has the the potent kind of adds the potent mix into the equation
All Hallows as well, I love that one because I just remember how the atmosphere of it again just really struck me, the unease that he creates within the story, just this sense that there's something off about the place but you can't quite
get to grips with it.
It's just like this haunted area where you never fully see the monsters or anything.
They're just kind of hinted at as being this very dark kind of Gothic structure.
Um, and so that's the kind of, some of the main ones that I've really loved from your channel.
And just in terms of outside of that, um, I've been in a big sort of Tolkien binge over the past sort of few years now, I've been, uh, listening to audio books of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
And, uh, that always is something that I return back to sometimes when I just need a bit of, um,
