Yeah.
Men literally only have one advantage over women and it's strength.
The fact that for millions of years, they've been leveraging strength to hunt and build and access is amazing and great.
And we have so many positive outcomes because of that.
That's amazing.
We don't live in that world anymore where strength is actually the thing that defines how you can be successful in the world.
And it's really only a kind of strength.
It's physical strength.
I mean, I think most women are more intellectually and emotionally strong than most men.
And so this idea that we're still following the shoulds of biology, I get it.
And there are certainly jobs that only men can do because of what they require physically.
I don't think we live in a world right now that necessarily requires that...
men are the providers and women are the kind of the receivers of that.
I just think that women also are just better at it, better at being stewards of the home and better at being the stewards of the relational dynamics.
Or because they don't know what their roles could be, they choose something that's very easy.
They choose something that's very easy to define or easy to celebrate or easy to defend without actually doing the work of
of changing.
The role of a marriage, I think, is so that each person, and this has been the journey that we're on, has the opportunity to become the better version of themselves because they're accountable, because they're, they're reflected because they are in relationship.
But the real benefit is I think, and I'd like to believe what happens to the family, like what happens to my kids and what happens to their kids and what happens is become, there's a world become a better, more relational place because we've done the work of marrying two people who are different and creating something ideally that's better.
I don't think it's really easy to look around right now and see that that's happening.
