But anyways, I guess I chose the surgery.
I remember being...
like rolled out of the ICU, like towards the surgery center.
And it was kind of like and this could have all been entirely a hallucination.
And that's what's kind of so difficult about this is separating that from
the reality of what happened, but you know, everyone was like lying in the hallways, kind of like cheering me on.
But again, like, I don't know how accurate it could have been a couple of people.
It could have literally been everyone from my high school, college and extended family.
I'm sure it was a lot of people.
I had a lot of support and that's the only reason I made it through.
I would have given up.
I had memories asking Amy, my nurse, if like she would, you know, quote unquote, pull the plug.
Like there's no value in this.
Like I'm staring at the ceiling.
I can't live the rest of my life like this.
Like I can see the anguish on everyone's face.
Like I don't want to be a burden on them for the rest of their lives.
It'll just be so much easier if like
I'm just out of the equation.
And looking back on that now is very shortsighted, but obviously I was not thinking with a clear mind.
