And when I went into surgery,
The doctor, his name was Dr. Wolflaw.
He was one of the top surgeons in the country, was using this new technology, at least at that time.
And I guess he had a little bit of optimism going in, in the conversations that him and his team had with my parents.
He was kind of just like,
Oh, this is a Monday for me.
Like, yeah, I'll go in there and fix it.
Like, I don't know.
Like, it could go well.
It could not.
Like, we'll see.
Like, it was supposed to be, I think, a couple hours.
It ended up being, like, six.
The surgery was on a Monday.
And so it was, like, three or four days.
And that was one of the things I was having trouble figuring out.
And when I talked to Amy...
She was able to pull up the exact day because when I got all these medical records, it was kind of scattered, you know, coming from 2010.
Like they gave me anesthesia the first day I was there.
But then several pages later, I saw like it was stopped and canceled.
