So they must have thought they were going to do the surgery and stopped maybe because I think that might have been like when the stroke happened.

And they're like, OK, like we can't we can't go in there yet.

Like he's not stable yet.

And then Amy said it was mostly a function of just that's when the best surgeon was available and there's no reason to do it right away.

So with the surgery being on a Monday, I ended up going like six hours and...

everyone was just, you know, waiting and praying.

I remember seeing like my brother's Facebook posts, like when I went into the surgery, I couldn't tell you like verbatim what exactly it said, but you know, just like, you know, you got this, like, and that was kind of like in the primitive days of social media.

So everything kind of got put on there, which was good and bad.

I don't really remember.

have anything on social media these days I've come to find that not really productive in life but that's just me and but like looking back on all the support I was getting like having the records of that was kind of surreal to like see almost in real time like everyone's reaction one of my best friends Peter

He wasn't with us that night.

He was at the University of Illinois.

He stayed there over the summer.

And he was getting mixed messages from everybody that was actually at that party that night of what exactly happened.

Obviously, I wasn't talking directly to my brother because my brother was talking to my family.

And he was just like, he had a feed on his Facebook page.

Like he, he was messaging me directly, like posting on my page, like, where are you?
