I just didn't want to think about the future.
I didn't want to plan for the future.
There's too much uncertainty in it.
And I think one of the hardest things was realizing that everybody has that uncertainty.
It's not unique to me.
like life is all about ups and downs.
Like you can't have joy without sorrow.
Like it's, and it's never like a straight line progression.
Like you kind of have this mentality, like I need to be like constantly improving and moving forward, but you're going to have setbacks.
Like some are going to be more significant than others.
I think just my whole experience is kind of like,
like an extreme situation that kind of like allows us to like put a magnifying glass on like that whole human phenomenon where it's not all about just like planning for like the best case scenario.

You have to plan for the best case scenario, but you also have to be okay when it doesn't go that way.
It's okay to be sad when it doesn't, or when something tragic happens, it's obviously okay to be sad.
Sadness is a part of life, and that's one of my least favorite.
favorite questions is like are you happy like if a therapist ever asked me about that or asked me that question I was like I would move on because it's it just doesn't make like there's gonna be some days where you're not happy that's like really not what life's about it's about like putting yourself in situations where you have more happy days than not and surrounding yourself with people that
that allow you that opportunity and will help pick you up when it, things aren't going your way.
And there's like so many things that you can't plan for.
And, and just accepting that is extremely difficult, but I think extremely worthwhile.
