We ended up actually having a really, really fun
engagement party at the Clovelly Bowls Club, which was still one of my favourite days ever.
So I feel like we kind of got the fun, you know, low key, low stress vibe of a wedding.
We never had a wedding.
But yeah, I was, he asked me to marry him and I said yes, because I knew it was important to him and I wanted to be with him.
But when we got back together again, I said, look, you know, and that was also part of it.
It was, I think that when we were together, there was some things that I was afraid to tell him.
And then when we broke up,
And part of that was coming from a place where I felt like I was walking on eggshells and I couldn't say certain things to him because he was a bit more sensitive than me.
But
When we got back together again, that was one of the things that both of us had worked on separately in our own therapy, which I really think is what made the difference because we'd done couples therapy but everything comes from within, right?
Each other, your own backgrounds and experiences.
So if you can't fix what's going on in here, then just lobbing on with someone else and trying to fix it together, you're already going to kind of be on the back foot.
