So the proposal has been met with praise from healthcare organisations while lobby groups for pubs and nightlife are concerned about the effect on hospitality. So is this a problem that really needed to be solved right now? Or is this a show of, oh, well, Sunak did it, so I'm going to do it more. I'm going to do it double. I'm going to do it quicker.

So the alliance has promised to campaign against the two-child benefit cap, the winter fuel payment and arms sales to Israel. Obviously, they're not a party, so they don't have a manifesto, but those are some things that they have promised.
