Adam welcomes Dave Dameshek back to the couch, and talks with him about growing up in Pittsburgh. Adam talks about his relationship with Everybody Loves Raymond creator Phil Rosenthal, and the new documentary that's based on Phil developing the show for Russian audiences. Adam gets some jabs in at the comedy execs, and Dameshek declares 'Raymond' one of the great sitcoms of our lifetimes. Adam also announces some of the exciting developments at ACE Broadcasting, including multiple simulcasts with Sirius XM and 2-hour extended episodes. The guys also do some sports talk; reflecting on the Jets surprising victory last week, and the parts of the playoffs that piss them off most. Next up, a pre-taped conversation with Dennis Miller from earlier in the day. Adam discusses the difficulties of writing a book when you're a horrible student, but Dennis genuinely loved the end result and compliments Adam's comedic abilities. The guys also talk about Dennis's early days as a comedian, working his way through the ranks of Saturday Night Live. Jumping back to the studio, Dameshek offers his thoughts on Dennis Miller, most notably his recent turn towards conservatism. Adam compares it to gay guys coming out of the closet, saying eventually you just have to be honest with yourself and tell the truth. Later, the guys listen to a segment of Adam's audiobook, and Adam decides who would play him in the movie version, if his book were ever optioned.
