So I got this award, Comedian's Comedian Award. It was presented to me a few weeks back over at Flappers. And it's nice. It's got some heft to it. It's definitely heavier than most awards you get these days. It's got a golden microphone on top of it. I was saying to Maria Menounos a few days back, and I don't know, and you guys can help me with my wiring, this means nothing to me. It is exactly a zero.
Well, we expected that.
I know, but I was... My biggest fear is that I was going to just leave it in the green room at Flappers and leave that night and forget about it. Now... It's in recognition of being a comedian and having a body of work behind me. My first thought is, well, Leno didn't show up.

Yes. Leno passed on it, and Dane Cook passed on it, and Kimmel passed on it, and Geechee Guy passed on it. So my first impulse is someone with no self-esteem as well. They wanted to give it out to a bunch of other guys, but they said no, which I'm sure is what happened.
Robin Williams passed on it. Yeah.
Still, he was so upset by even the gesture. No. But I should still go, well, it is the Comedian's Comedian Award, and all you ever wanted to be was a comedian, and now you have an award that says you've been doing it for 20 years and making people laugh. Why does this mean nothing to you? And, by the way... Just so you guys don't think I'm completely filled with cat poo and sawdust, because you could go, well, it means nothing to you because you're dead inside. But there are things... such as my Toyota Grand Prix trophies, which mean a lot to me. So that does mean something to me.
You won that on the field of competition. There were people who had a chance to win that at the start of the race.
And I like where you're going. And your Pop Warner trophies, those mean a lot. Again, field of competition. It's – well, actually, a letter of recruitment from Cal Poly Pomona trying to get me – calling me a blue-chip player back in 1982 or something is my most valuable possession other than the Twins. But when I say the Twins, I mean the two Lambos.
What did you get a word of them for?
What I'm saying is this. This should mean something. It just doesn't. And so we've established that there are things that mean something to me. And one could go, well, okay, when you did the Toyota Grand Prix, you had to beat out a bunch of other people to win.
