Have you ever wondered if your substance use is a problem even if you don’t feel addicted? In this episode we talk to therapist Tucker Keatley, LMSW-C about his approach to treating substance use and addiction and how his own experience in recovery has informed his approach. With a focus on destigmatizing and demystifying substance use treatment, this is an episode you definitely need to hear! Tucker Keatley Bio: Tucker Keatley, LMSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker in Michigan. As a clinician, he specializes in patients with substance use disorders and "co-occurring disorders," a fancy term meaning the combo of an addiction and another mental health condition. Tucker specializes in this field because he's got "co-occurring disorders," with over seven years of sobriety. Outside of direct clinical work, he speaks and writes about the patient and provider experience, conducts workshops on mental health stigma, and advocates for the patient in all of us.
